Update Diary

I (Tristan) intend to begin marking down every update and change made to the website, starting today - December 11th at 10pm. With any luck, this will allow both myself, future web ministers, and the populace to keep better track of the evolution of the site.)

December 11, 2009 - Officium: Rapier marshal position marked; Aibhilin marked as rapier marshal; Thrown Weapons marshal position marked. Web Minister name changed on Library and Community pages. OOP page link fixed (twice).

December 29, 2009 - Excellencies' email address added to Officium and Populace pages. Two internal links on Library page fixed to .ca from .sca.org. Misleading hyperlink fixed on Library page. Posted Cataract Publication Submission Form as a separate page, linked near the Chronicler entry on the Officium page. Added six brand-new Library links (Heather Dale website, Staffordshire Hoard, YouTube link, the updated Laws of Ealdormere, reasons to date a medievalist, and a Society-inspired A&S project). Spelling of a name corrected on Officium page (Inis to Inse). Updated the OoP with Baronial and Kingdom awards given at BBBI. Recommended external link disclaimer added to Library page and to this Disclaimer page. Process begun, as demanded by Society Web Minister Policies, to de-link all written out email addresses on the site; put spaces in all addresses on Officium page to prevent automatic email address farming. Baronial champions updated. One miswritten OoP entry corrected.

January 8, 2010 - New email address for their Excellencies added to Officium and Populace pages. Link to The Heroic Age (historical journal) added to the Library. Bolded all names on the OOP. Updated Library link for Known World Genealogy, Ealdormere College of Heralds, Atlantian Arts Links, Wareham Forge, Academy of Rapier, Banners and Flags, Guide to Medieval Terms, Mongolia, 1610 Maps, Roman Army in Britain, Library of St. Nicholas, Camelot Project, Calontir A&S, and Ben Dunfirth. Removed Rozakii, Zahra's Scribal, Canisius College, Tibetan & Buddhist Art, Mongolian National Art Gallery, SCA Translations, Elizabethan, Brothers Grymme, Byzantium, Period Wedding Dresses, and Black Patche dead links. Backed up old Library page.

January 12, 2010 - Posted meeting and practice dates on the Calendar for the next year.

January 28, 2010 - Posted large number of individual updates to OOP. Jeanna ap Keane and Dmitri Kieva added to Golden Chalice listing; dates missing. Fruachan's name spelling corrected on that page. Made it easier to find Baronial awards on the Award Orders page.

February 10, 2010 - Added cardboard trebuchet how-to link and Catherine of Cleves to the Library page. Huge number of OoP additions and corrections. Made OoP explanation page line up. Made Order of the Wain OWn on that page to avoid confusion; all further entries of Order of the Wain will be made as OWn, to distinguish from Order of the Willow.

February 24, 2010 - Posted Baronial meeting minutes from July 2009 to February 2010 on the website, under 'Meeting Minutes' - replaces 'News' page. Made page for St. Catharines library demo, and posted it to the Calendar.

March 6, 2010 - Updated OoP from H to L. Some of this had been done a previous day, but I forgot to write it down here.

March 8, 2010 - Lady Mary page posted. Updated OoP from L to O.

March 23, 2010 - Posted March meeting minutes. My main computer is currently down; updates will be slow.

March 25, 2010 - Changed Skymasters to Skyhunters on Lady Mary page.

March 28, 2010 - Phone number removed from Lady Mary page.

May 2, 2010 (computer crash involved!) - Baronial calendar updated through to the end of September.

May 3, 2010 - Chamberlain listing updated on Officium page.

May 4, 2010 - OoP updated from P to R.

May 6, 2010 - Added schedule to Lady Mary 2010 page.

May 9, 2010 - OoP updated from S to the end! May I give myself a small wassail?

May 16, 2010 - Added Google insert to Library Demo page, and scaled it for all monitors. Added written directions to the summer meeting site.

May 18, 2010 - Updated listing of Baronial awards. Added awards from Lady Mary and Coronation to the OoP. Updated Baronial Champions and added directions to Library Demo page.

May 19, 2010 - Changed the listed location of the Kids' Event to Smithville from Fort Erie.

June 16, 2010 - Noted current location of practices on front page; changed date of July meeting; added April, May, and June meeting minutes. Updated names of HW and TW champions.

June 21, 2010 - Figured out how to flip the Finally Oaks map on the Directions page. Added date of Kingdom A&S to calendar. Noted lack of practice on July 4th. Amended wording and time of day for meetings and practices on front page and Calendar.

June 27, 2010 - Corrected A&S Minister's phone number. Added link to the new Codex Ealdormere, as well as others, to library.

August 17, 2010 (back from Pennsic) - Link about a Saxon project at the U of Oxford added to Library. Their Excellencies' letter about Melee 2010 added to the From Their Excellencies page, unfortunately very tardily. Children's Event flyer finally changed to its (hopefully) final form. Updated Calendar to show the lack of gathering at Finally Oaks on Aug. 29.

September 10, 2010 - Posted semi-basic Kingdom A&S flyer. Put herb class at Finally Oaks on calendar.

September 27, 2010 - Posted July-September meeting minutes. Added sewing and scribal days at Yllaria's to calendar.

October 5, 2010 - Posted meeting/practice schedule up to Sept. 2011. Posted basic 12th Night page - must clean up soon. Added directions back into A&S page.

October 11, 2010 - Feast update to the A&S page.

October 28, 2010 - Liadin's map for Finally Oaks finally uploaded. Email address fixed for the feast reservations clerk for the 2010 A&S Faire. The Comports now no longer have an extraneous 'e' on their name on the OoP. The directions for the Richmond Street Public School have now been posted, and the calendar has been adjusted accordingly to reflect the meeting site change, hopefully in time. Posted October 2010 meeting minutes. Front page has been updated to reflect the meeting site change as well.

November 28, 2010 - Added link to Danish Royal Library to library. Made improvements to 12th Night page. Finally figured out how to fix the dithering in the sidebars.

November 29, 2010 - More updates to 12th Night page.
